“Anxiety happens when you think you have to figure everything out. Turn to God. He has a plan”
It is ever so humble knowing God is always with us, and is always there to talk to, to pray too. Going through my teenage years I found myself loosing my faith and my amazing relationship I had with God. Now looking back at the age of 20, which I know is not that long, I wish someone had guided me in the direction of turning back to my church and to the bible to help ease the stress of high school, friendships, and breakup I had. I am not writing my blog to sway people to turn to the bible, but I believe it is extremely important to let go, and let God, as he is our savior, and he is in control.
These are the verses I turn to remind me I am better than anxiety and stress.
Proverbs 3:5-6 ” Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding: in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight ”
Philippians 4:6-7 ” Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything; tell God your needs and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your heart quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus ”
Romans 8:18 ” The pain that you’ve been feeling, can’t compare to the joy that’s coming ”
1 Peter 5:7 ” Cast all strength on Him because He cares for you ”
Psalm 62:8 ” Trust in Him at all times, pour your hearts out to Him, for God is our Refuge ”
Matthew 11:28-29 ” Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest in your souls ”
Psalm 94:19 ” When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy ”
I am still searching for versus to turn too, so please share with me where you turn to the bible to help ease your mind. Isn’t our God truly wonderful!
Yours truly, Darian
